Privacy policy

Linen & List (linenandlist.com) is a small studio site. This policy describes the information the site handles and where it goes.
What you give us
If you download a checklist or a printable, or join the early list, we ask for an email address. A wedding date and the names you want on a PDF are optional except where the checklist needs the date to build the file. The PDF itself is generated in your browser. We do not receive the PDF file.
Those details are sent to Kit (ConvertKit) when the studio’s Kit account is connected, so we can mail you the link back to your checklist and, later, notes about planning tools. Kit’s own privacy policy applies to that storage. If Kit is not connected yet, the signup is written to the site’s server log so it is not silently discarded, and the download still proceeds. Those logs can contain your email address. They should be treated as personal information and not left sitting in a log drain longer than needed.
Analytics
The site is set up for Google Analytics 4, and it only loads if a measurement ID is configured. Until that ID is set, the GA4 script is not included. Events the site can send, once it is on, are: starting the checklist tool, signing up, and downloading a PDF. They are used to see whether the pages are useful, not to build an advertising profile for sale.
The site runs on Cloudflare. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is turned on for the domain, Cloudflare collects cookieless traffic and performance metrics. That measurement does not set cookies. Cloudflare’s policy describes what their network logs contain.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not ask for payment card numbers on this version of the site. When paid products exist, checkout will run through Stripe Managed Payments. Link, Stripe’s merchant of record, collects your payment details under the Link privacy policy. We receive the order details we need to send your files, and this policy covers how we handle them.
How long, and your choices
You can unsubscribe from mail in the message itself, or by writing to hello@linenandlist.com. You can ask what we have stored under your email and ask us to delete it. We will do that for the Kit record and for any copy we control. Server logs at the host may expire on the host’s schedule.
Children
The site is for adults planning a wedding. It is not directed at children.
